What Is Landsat 8?

Landsat 8 launched on February 11, 2013 as a joint mission between NASA and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), continuing the Landsat program's satellite imagery record that stretches back to 1972. Why Landsat 8 Band 8 Matters for Analysis
